We were early so the place was pretty empty |
Later, it wasn't this empty, of course |
The Auer Dult was originally a "crockery market". It began in 1310 |
Yes, it is also a fest |
Have you ever seen such a huge pretzel??!! |
The purpose of our visit was the fish-on-a-stick. This is pink Salmon. I forgot to take a picture of it before we started eating!! |
Sonya and Susan....this is for you!! |
Mom....this is for you! |
Dad....you aren't forgotten! This is for you!! |

Love the pictures! I want a pretzel not the salmon - yuck!! Ree
I want the salmon! I know that the bucket swing chair ride photo was for me! I smile so much when I remember our experience riding that at the Oktoberfest...we laughed the ENTIRE ride, and we were loud too ...as we rode along with all the children! haha (were we the only grown-ups on the ride? who knows? who cares? we had so much fun) It was the best! I've seen those huge pretzels, they sell them by the Dom and all the students get them and think they are the greatest (and take photos of them eating them). I wouldn't want one that huge, I mean, better to get a semmel. This fest looks so nice...I am glad you took these photos for us to see! Love you!
