Alpenzoo, Innsbruck

Situated 727 meters (2385 feet) above sea level, the Alpenzoo is the highest zoo in the world. Rather than play host to a range of exotic creatures, this haven only contains animals that originate from the Alpine region. Alpenzoo, Innsbruck

The plants, flowers and trees are all labeled

Yes, sometimes you are right in the cages

Love the fence! Kitty in tree wants to play and have me scratch his ears I think! Moose are just odd. How big is that wood pecker?? Donkits? Where are the donkits???

Susan didn't know about the bobcats?
